• Must give support to information in multiple languages.
  
  
• Must allow the Integration of data of relatively common use:
  
  
  • Concepts used in multiple disciplines.
    
    
  • Concepts that are common ly in relevant databases.
    
    
  • Concepts useful for the selected target audience.
    
    
• Must allow managing species records versions.
  
  
• The design must be structured using a core and extensions.
